I was just reading one of my favourite blogs and came upon a random contest to create a international symbol for cycling (ISFC) icon from the time-traveling t-shirt-wearing retro-Fred from the planet Tridork (TTRFFTPTD). Now to see if it gets a run on the blog.

Simple Symbols

Last year in the midst of all the travel around europe I wanted to have a new logo for my business card and combined my initial 'R' into a little backpacking icon. Unfortunately for him, I never got around to putting a new card together. But every time I find him hiding away in my files I smile. He reminds me of all the good times I had and people that I met while traveling. Maybe someday I will get to do work for a backpackers and he will be able to get out and about once again.
